year 7
This week we would hope to be able to move pupils from mixed ability form groups to their starting maths sets. We set pupils from each half of the year into three sets:- set 1 is the top set, for learners who are ahead of average for their age
- set 2 for our middle ability learners
- set 3 is a smaller class for those learners who need additional support to catch up.
Don't worry if you are not in the set you hoped for, we keep an open mind about setting especially in year 7 and pupils may well be able to move sets again before Christmas. Parents, if you have particular concerns about setting, please contact the school.year 7 are learning:
